See Your Dollar is a financial-literacy and character-development initiative founded by Professor Gee. Through See Your Dollar Academy, our Louisiana-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are working to make practical financial education understandable, accessible, and easier to circulate throughout our communities.
Our educational framework helps people understand money—including how to manage it and take control of their financial futures—along with cash flow, budgeting, saving, investing, credit, debt, loans, inflation, equity, entrepreneurship, and the steps that align with the wealth-building process. At the same time, we emphasize the humility, discipline, integrity, accountability, rational and logical thinking, consistency, upright morals, and honorable principles needed to apply that knowledge responsibly.
This hub brings our mission, educational resources, financial tools, books, workbook, and complete Financial Literacy From Scratch course together in one convenient location.
Whether you are a parent, educator, mentor, family member, community leader, organization, or someone seeking financial knowledge for yourself, this hub will help you understand what we offer and how you can use it.
Our primary objective is to get this information circulating. You do not need to be a financial expert to help us circulate this information. You can begin by learning from the resources, introducing them to someone else, and starting a conversation about what they understood.
Our vision is simple:
We share the information with you.
You share it with the next person.
Together, we help the information travel.
